Kettlebell Fitness Training

What’s not to love about Kettlebells. They exercise your whole body with maximum effect and in a very short training period. The average person can burn 400 calories in just 20 minutes with a kettlebell. That's an amazing 20 calories a minute, or the equivalent of running a six-minute mile!

When you are working with a barbell or dumbbell you are simply going up and down, when working with a kettlebell you're going to move side to side and in and out, it's much more functional and more like how you move in daily life.

Due to the shape of the kettlebell it makes training with it unique compared to a dumbbell and barbell. The handle allows the wrist to remain fixed and in neutral position which makes greater endurance and loss of injury risk.

A kettlebell will seem heavier than a barbell or dumbbell of the same weight because the weight seems to pull at the user, which increases the work of the stabiliser muscles.

Kettlebells are often referred to as the ultimate training tool, they will:

  • Increase Muscle
  • Burn Body Fat
  • Strengthen Core Muscles
  • Tone up your bottom and the back of your thighs
  • Exercise your lower back
  • Make you stronger and more flexible
  • Improve Cardiovascular Fitness
  • Increase muscular strength and endurance

It is a great high impact exercise program that you don’t have to do for very long to feel the effort that you have to put in to it. Trust me after about 10 minutes you will be sweating but feeling great and ready for the next moves!
